Your days
What did I see?
What did I close?
Look back over two weeks, day by day: the threads you touched and the ones you closed. A mirror, never a score.
Built for ADHD brains. Works for every scattered day.
Clew is a quiet Mac app that makes sense of your scattered work across tabs, AI chats and documents, and folds it into a few clear threads, without you saving or organizing anything.
Free while in beta. macOS 14 or newer.
The list you never write
A to-do list
You write it ahead, keep it up by hand, and end the day behind it.
Clew
It fills itself as you work. You close what's done and end the day lighter.
Your days
Look back over two weeks, day by day: the threads you touched and the ones you closed. A mirror, never a score.
Mindful by design
No list to write, no inbox to clear.
Good morning, welcome back, before you go.
A missed evening leaves a gap, never a warning.
Finished or let go, a closed thread is closed.
One small note for next time, if you want one.
Clew opens a tab only when you click.
What Clew remembers
The name and address of the tab in front. Not the page, not the other tabs.
The name of the file you have open, like “Pricing v3 draft” in Notion.
What is inside your documents, emails and chats. Passwords. Private windows, except in Safari: pause Clew there.
Local on your Mac. Your notes and days never leave it, and we never sell your data. To sort a tab, Clew sends its name and address, your thread names and your last few tabs, and you can switch that off.
Questions
No, Clew leaves your browser alone. It bundles the tabs that belong together into threads, so instead of forty tabs you have four threads to close in Clew. Your browser tabs stay open until you close them.
Safari, Chrome, Arc, Brave, Edge and Vivaldi, with the address of the tab in front. In Firefox Clew sees the window name only. Every other Mac app works by its window name: Figma, Notion, Cursor, Slack, Claude and more.
Two, both asked by macOS: Accessibility, to read the name of the window in front, and one Automation prompt per browser, to read the tab's address. Never screen recording.
Through Clew's server to Claude: what you type in Describe, and the name and address of a tab Clew cannot sort on your Mac, once, with the names of your open threads and of up to three work tabs you were just in, and now and then the names of two tabs, to check whether they belong to the same piece of work. Every request is listed in Clew's Privacy page. Switch sorting off and no tab leaves your Mac. An email's subject counts as a tab name; its text never leaves. In Safari, pause Clew for private windows.
Clew is free while in beta. You sign in with your email and a 6-digit code, no password.
You never have to write anything into Clew. It fills itself from what you open, and your only job is to close things. People who cannot keep a to-do list going are who it is made for.
Anything you had open: a browser tab, a Figma file, a Cursor window, a Notion page, a chat in Claude or ChatGPT.
Clew is built by a founder with ADHD, for ADHD brains: attention that follows what interests you, forty tabs by the afternoon, and a to-do list that never kept up. It works for every scattered day, with or without a diagnosis.
At the end of the day, you see what your work added up to, close your tabs, and stop carrying unfinished things in your head.
